Microscopic Identification Key for Common Turfgrass Diseases

This key has been adapted from the book The Microscope in Turfgrass Disease Diagnosis, with approval from Pat Sanders, retired Professor of Turfgrass Pathology, and its author. This key will lead you through systematic steps to help you identify the pathogen that is ailing your turf. If you know the basics of using a microscope, and you have access to one, you will be able to become your own diagnostician. The key is broken up into two parts, one using hyphae structures and the other using spores. You may require a little knowledge of these structures to help you throughout. So happy diagnosing, and please select the key that will best serve your needs.
